Maintaining the material properties is also extremely important in the case of PCR plastics in order to guarantee their functionality and variety of applications. As the basic colours of PCR materials often vary, a masterbatch enables precise and homogeneous colouring. The challenge with colouring, especially with black colouring, is not to negatively affect the mechanical properties despite the use of carbon black.
Our newly developed masterbatch formulation from the AF-Carbon® product family combines the most important aspects. The use of a recycled polyethylene carrier in combination with a high-quality carbon black. Thanks to its good dispersion, this masterbatch is particularly suitable for injection moulding applications. With our masterbatch, we support you in achieving your sustainability goals. In practice, both the processability and the colour intensity are impressive.
