Masterbatches based on polyketone
Processing together what belongs together
Due to the outstanding characteristic properties of polyketone (PK), such as high load-bearing capacity, reduced moisture absorption, good tribological properties, shorter cycle times and, finally, higher environmental compatibility compared to polymer types such as polyamide (PA), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) or polyoxymethylene (POM), polyketone has been experiencing a renaissance for some time now.
In order not to influence these properties by adding a different type of polymer. We have taken this as an opportunity to develop a masterbatch series for polyketone based on polyketone.
You can find a selection of our already developed "ready to use" colours in the table below.

Please note that the original colour may differ from the printed version or the screen resolution! The colour result may also vary depending on the combined reinforced or unreinforced polymer. The colouring on our part colouring was carried out in an unreinforced polyketone. We would be happy to test our colour formulation in your desired material.

Purging compounds for Polyketone
The two cleaning granulate types AF-Clean® NB 930007 natur Polyketon and NB 930008 natur Polyketon PRO are optimised for use after processing polyketone.
The combination of active ingredients efficiently removes polymer residues and colour residues as well as cross-linked components that can occur during the processing of polyketone. The chemically active cleaning component ensures effective cleaning without damaging the machine components. After the cleaning process, the granulate can be quickly removed from the processing machine by the downstream polymer. Longer dwell times in the machine are also possible without any problems.
For an effective combination of chemical and mechanical cleaning, we recommend our AF-Clean® NB 930008 natural Polyketon PRO
