Their high wear resistance, good sliding properties and reinforcement with glass or carbon fibres make them the material of choice for many customers. However, the challenge when colouring polyamides is to maintain their mechanical properties.
That is why we offer high-quality colour and carbon black concentrates with outstanding dispersion for the most demanding requirements. Unlike polyethylene-based masterbatches, our polyamide-based masterbatch offers significantly higher mechanical values.

Heat stabilsing Masterbatch for Polyamides
With an effective combination of additives, we are expanding our portfolio for maintaining the mechanical properties of polyamides. This masterbatch provides very effective stabilization under continuous thermal stress and is particularly suitable for thick-walled injection-molded parts as well as extruded pipes, sheets, and profiles.
AF-Color® PA 201212 WS orange is a specially developed combination masterbatch for PA 6 and PA 6.6. Its innovative formulation provides reliable protection under continuous thermal exposure while maintaining color stability in orange (RAL 2003). Ideal for applications in the field of electromobility.

Foaming agent for polyamides
AF Complex® PA 990906 TM natur is an endothermic blowing agent masterbatch with a high active ingredient content, specially developed for foaming polyamides in injection moulding, profile and film extrusion applications. The carrier system optimised for polyamide eliminates the disruptive influence of foreign polymer on the polymer matrix. The special formulation enables the production of very fine-cell foam structures and components with high surface qualities. The product can be used to save weight and material (density reduction of up to 40 %) and to reduce warpage and sink marks.
